I had the pleasure of passing by Clarence House, a stunning royal residence on the Mall. The Queen's Guards at the front left a lasting impression. Their unwavering dedication and impeccable discipline were truly commendable. The precision in their movements and the iconic red uniforms added a regal touch to the atmosphere. Even from a distance, the guards exuded a sense of duty and professionalism, enhancing the overall experience of visiting this historic site. A must-see for anyone exploring London's royal landmarks!
Apparently King Charles III (Charles III Rex) lives here but the place didn't have much to see. For a decent view of the place, you can see it on one specific spot in Stable Yard. Remember you cannot go past the chains so seeing this place is not as worth it as it seems prior to seeing this place.
Beautiful place a must to visit if you go to london
If you are a fan of the Royals, this is a must see! Present home to Charles and Camilla. Former home to the Queen Mother who was its longest inhabitant, living there for over 50 years. Only open in August. It is located right beside Buckingham Palace. What a lovely and cozy home!
Tip: Buy the VIP ticket which gets you a guided tour inside, a souvenir book and a glass of champagne. Note that pics are not allowed inside, which is why I took photos of the guide book.
A pleasant visit. Good tour guide..Janet Burrell..knew her stuff! Cosy lived in environment. Official london royal residence for Charles&Camilla. Only open during August to public. Would go back again. No cafe but good facilities nearby. Wheelchair access. Buckingham Palace 5mins away etc
Nice! Can I move in? 😉 I seriously don't need much room. I can dust the books and everything? ....
Bravo from Chicago for the Windsors! Dear England: Without the Royals just think of all the lost tourism money!?! Why go to London, etc, after all, if there isn't a monarch!? You could just go to Rome, Paris, etc. Wake up! IMHO. 🙂
Christmas shopping evening. We were very lucky and were able to get a couple of tickets to their shopping event. Security is tight, your phones were taken away but it wasn't a problem. Managed to spend some money on some different Christmas gifts. It was good to see inside, amazing paintings and photos around. Glad we went.
Oh the memories! Having been seamstress to her Majesty Princess Elizabeth all those years before she became Queen. Here we enjoyed life to its fullest whilst running naked through the halls at night.
